It rained here almost the entire weekend which was a very nice change. I’ll admit when I woke up this morning to the cloudy rain and the cool breeze, I really didn’t want to get up. In fact, I decided to just take a day off and hang around the house for the morning instead. Then I remembered it was shoulder day which is my favorite and decided to just go ahead and get up.
I think I like shoulders best because that’s what I see when I look in the mirror. Silly, I know but whatever motivates you. I spent the rest of the day running errands, cleaning the house, poking around on the computer, and working my To Do List. Sundays are definitely not a rest day here. In case you missed anything this week, here is what happened:
- I decided to forget about perfect and results and just enjoy the fun
- I made my own baked tofu with cilantro pesto ala Whole Foods
- I whipped up a fast, easy and tasty dinner without even using the oven
- I gave you some simple rules for life that are guaranteed to work well
- I ranted about a local hospital’s take on healthy choices
- I made delicious pumpkin protein waffles that were good fresh and even better leftover
Look at that! Three new recipes this week. I think my favorite was the waffles. I’m looking forward to trying out a couple more this week too.
