I’ve been busy at work this weekend putting together a new design for Ye Olde Blog. Tah dah! OK, probably not completely tah dah yet because I’m still working on it. You’ll probably see a few more changes over the next week as I play with it. If there’s something you love, let me know so that it stays around. Something you hate, do the same or you may be stuck with it.
I’m not the world’s greatest web designer so this is pushing my technical abilities a bit but it’s pretty fun. I just wish it went a bit faster and there was less “click this button and whoa that didn’t work well.” Hey! This could be my first attempt of the year to Empower myself. I’m empowering myself to learn new skills.

This was a great start to the New Year and I’m so excited a week in. No, I haven’t been taking any special happy pills. One last thing to leave you with before I go enjoy the rest of my Sunday. I found a stroke of brilliance on Twitter this week. It was a tweet that jumped out at me with its simplicity yet profoundness. It makes total sense and I hope that you follow it on your own journey.
